"Everybody get out of your house, now."
That's what Officer Hank McCoy yelled as he went house-to-house urging residents to evacuate their homes. Heavy winds blew a grass fire next to Interstate 80 over a 15-foot retaining wall into several residents' backyards. The firefighters were still on their way to Marigold Drive. In the end, five homes were left inhabitable and 10 were heavily damaged. Luckily, no one was injured.
